SUPPORT GROUPS

NORTH POINTE
SUPPORT GROUPS

Sometimes we all need a little support. Please know you are not alone. North Pointe is proud to host a variety of Support Groups to walk with people through life's Habits, Hurts and Hangups. We also partner with a number of other Support Resources in the Edmonton Area.

There are a lot of approaches to overcoming sexual brokenness, such as going to counselling, recovery programs, getting emotionally healed, and more. After years in this field and witnessing countless stories, we developed a framework that includes the best of all of these approaches - in addition to one key thing that most approaches miss: the God-given purpose of our sexual desires. This is all unveiled through Jesus-Centered Sexuality.

Adeara is a faith-based, accredited addiction recovery centre for women and their children. We provide long-term programming to women in need in a residential setting. We’re here to walk with women through every step of their recovery journey—from addiction to sobriety, and transitioning back into the community.

DivorceCare is a Christ-centered, 13-week support group program helping people heal from separation or divorce, offering video sessions with expert advice, group discussions on topics like anger, loneliness, finances, and forgiveness, plus workbooks for personal growth, available in-person or online through local churches and organizations worldwide.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
